43 years ago this joyous mess of Italian cannibal and zombie cycles, was released in the United States. It is a film to pair with Fulci’s Zombie Flesh Eaters.
Actors and locations from Fulci’s production appear in all cuts on this true oddity. I can’t recommend it beyond, hardcore Italian genre fans.

Today's midday cleaning soundtrack is the crushing and cathartic Sewn Mouth Secrets by Soilent Green.
This album is a relentless blend of sludge, grind, and Southern groove.
Released in 1998, it showcases the band's distinct riffs, eccentric brand of southern sludge, and amazingly dramatic, beautiful vocal delivery that will appeal to fans of Acid Bath and the more adventurous side of NOLA metal.
Soilent Green, formed in the early '90s in Louisiana, marries grindcore intensity with doom-laden sludge and death metal precision. Tragically, the band faced loss with the deaths of bassist Scott Williams and guitarist Tommy Buckley's brother, adding a haunting layer to their already intense legacy. Sewn Mouth Secrets remains a standout in their discography and a must-listen for fans of extreme metal with depth.

Ingested is a British death metal band hailing from Manchester, England. Formed in 2006, they are known for their brutal mix of slam death metal and deathcore, blending relentless blast beats, guttural vocals, and crushing breakdowns. Over the years, they’ve built a reputation as one of the heaviest and most technically proficient bands in modern extreme metal.

Call of the Void is a four-track EP released by Ingested on June 14, 2019. While the band is known for its full-length releases, this EP served as a short but savage reminder of their intensity. The tracks continue their signature mix of brutal death metal with elements of slam and deathcore, featuring razor-sharp riffs, machine-gun drumming, and guttural growls that push the boundaries of sonic devastation.
