🚨 RUSH Returns: A New Chapter Begins!

After more than a decade away, RUSH is officially returning to the stage — and rock fans everywhere are losing it. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, the legendary duo behind some of the most technically dazzling and emotionally charged music in rock history, have announced their 2026 headline tour, “Fifty Something.” 🙌🏼

This marks their first live shows since 2015, now joined by powerhouse drummer Anika Nilles, who steps into the impossible role left by the late Neil Peart with her own fierce precision and rhythmic fire.

The tour launches in Los Angeles, CA, on June 7 and will include 2 shows in Texas: Fort Worth, on June 24 and June 26 at Dickies Arena, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated comebacks in modern rock. It’s not just nostalgia — it’s evolution.

Cage The Elephant Set San Antonio on Fire Last Night 🔥

From the first chord of “Broken Boy,” Cage The Elephant transformed the Boeing Center at Tech Port into a swirling, electric storm. Frontman Matt Shultz commanded the stage with unshakable swagger, balancing raw chaos and intimate vulnerability like only he can. The crowd rode every twist and turn — screaming, jumping, and singing along to every lyric.

Highlights poured through the set: the gritty defiance of “Cry Baby,” the psychedelic pulse of “Spiderhead,” and the haunting introspection of “Neon Pill.” Classic hits like “Shake Me Down” and “Cigarette Daydreams” had fans shouting every word back, creating a shared chorus of memory and adrenaline. They closed the night with “Come A Little Closer,” leaving the room both exhilarated and breathless.

Backing them up, the precision of Brad Shultz’s guitar, Daniel Tichenor’s bass, Jared Champion’s drumming kept the chaos grounded in pure, unstoppable rhythm, and Nick Bockrath on lead guitar completed the special sound that builds this incredible band. It wasn’t just a concert — it was a cathartic eruption, a reminder that Cage The Elephant thrives in imperfection, intensity, and human connection. San Antonio won’t forget this night anytime soon.

ROLE MODEL – Lights Up San Antonio! ❤️‍🔥

From the first notes of “Writing’s On The Wall” to the heartfelt closer “Deeply Still In Love,” his set felt like an intimate diary ripped wide open under stage lights. The crowd sang (loudly) every word back, turning the historic venue into one big chorus of devotion!

The highlight? “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out.” Instead of the usual celebrity cameo, Role Model pulled a fan (Natalia) from the crowd to play Sally, sparking laughter, screams, and a sea of phones capturing the unforgettable moment. It was raw, unpredictable, and perfectly San Antonio.

With standout tracks like “Look That Woman,” “Scumbag,” and “Slipfast,” the night was equal parts cathartic and electric. A reminder of why his shows feel more like shared confessions than concerts.
