Can one be alone when surrounded by many? Can we be alone together?

A homeless man on a bench, in the middle of a cavalcade of cars, is sleeping. He is alone, with us. And life passes, the cars pass…
This image also appears on the album cover: blurred, distant, almost fading away.

The Solitudes seeks to capture this societal feeling: a life lived crowded among others, a life spent within a family, yet still experienced in solitude.

The album was recorded by Charmey on his 1940s Swiss felt piano, accompanied by the voice of Ildi Ferencz and the subtle textures of the DSI Prophet synthesizer.

The wind has no color.
Yet when it moves, the world comes alive.

The title comes from a Zen koan that asks:
“What is the color of the wind?”

That question has always inspired me, the wind is invisible, impossible to grasp, yet its presence transforms everything around it.
To me, the present moment works the same way: fleeting and subtle, but it’s what gives life its meaning and beauty.

This track is my reflection on that idea.
Minimal, ambient, atmospheric, almost like a breath.
A space to slow down, be present, and feel the moment as it moves through you, the way wind moves through the world.

I hope The Colour of Wind gives you a little stillness, a little clarity…
and maybe even lets you glimpse the color of your own present moment.

Everything has always been here; perhaps it was only arranged differently.
Nothing has ever been lost, as in the moment it happened, it eternally shaped us.
"Otto Vite" (Eight Lives) delves into the mysterious permanence of love in the never-ending current of life.
The Album seals frames of one's life story, in a mosaic built on metaphors, behaviours, memories, people, and gestures.
The Record is structured in a way that each track films a discrete segment of life: describing an object, a person, or a feeling, and at the same time deepening a different connotation on the meaning of love, while remarking its foundation as the only permanent sublayer of an ever-changing world.
The objective is to focus on the moment and its details, to understand that love is always before our eyes.
And the rule is to mix things up, with the intention of putting them back together, in a configuration that makes us understand that we have always been.
"Otto Vite" is an Album that, in some way, tributes the people who made me feel something, some kind of hope, a feeling of understanding, soft vibrations, those rare breathing moments in which our feet are grounded to earth, and we feel we are where we are meant to be. (Edoardo Gastaldi)

Memories of a Pearl is also a remembrance — of a radiant album, The Pearl by Harold Budd and Brian Eno, a work that cradled all my troubled adolescence.

“Where Words Wither” is a dark, poetic tale woven through haunting soundscapes and ritualistic tones. Following the folkloric world of The Witching Tree, it deepens the album’s witch-lore, a realm where storytelling, atmosphere, and emotion intertwine like roots beneath the soil.

But beyond its spectral veil lies a deeper resonance: a reflection of our times. We are living through a dark era, darker than it seems, where humanity’s highest values are slowly fading. Empathy grows quiet. Compassion drifts into silence. Truth bends beneath the weight of greed and ignorance, and Love is left whispering in the shadows.

In this world of decay, “Where Words Wither” becomes both lament and invocation, a spell to remember what makes us human:
