It’s 5 a.m. and they’re already rolling.
No spotlight. No applause. Just steel boots, diesel engines, and a job that keeps Oregon clean.
This isn’t just “taking out the trash.” It’s protecting what matters…. our rivers, our forests, our neighborhoods. These folks haul, sort, recycle, and keep our state grounded in grit and purpose.
👊 From Estacada to the coast, they show up in the rain, in the snow, in the early fog. Because this work? It’s about respect, responsibility, and real impact.
So yes, please tip your hat next time. Because garbage ain’t dirty. It’s Oregon work done right. Another giant industry that is slept on, and that’s story should be heard!
