NEW EPISODE ALERT!! Navigating Disney Genie +

The creators at Walt Disney World have designed a system that will replace the old FastPass system, called Genie +. This innovative app is designed to take Walt Disney world's visitor's wait times down. Visitors will be able to plan their days by reviewing wait times in real-time. This will allow guests to spend more time doing what they really want. Overall improving guest experiences leading to the most magical vacation.

That is right, you can get up close again with many of your favorite characters. Ready to hug Mickey Mouse or how about dancing with Joy, you can do just that.

Your podcast hosts, Mary Yohannan and Emily Nugent, are super excited about the release of the new Guardians of the Galaxy roller-coaster at Epcot. This is the newest installment at Epcot and one of the few Marvel(R) rides at Walt Disney World. If you are an annual passholder you probably received an “early admission” ticket for this ride. Otherwise, everyone else will be able to ride early this summer.

If you love the wilderness and are looking for some old time show, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical R***e is back! Grab a table, enjoy family style dining, and bring your singing voice. This is an interactive show for all ages. In other news, Expedition Everest will be open again. It is still unclear exactly what was refurbished during the down time, but our fingers are crossed it was the broken Yetti.

Octopus is one of the most popular and delicious seafood dishes in Greece. 🐙 But how do they make it so tender and tasty? Well, first they have to catch it, which is not an easy task. Some people use a spear, some use a hook, and some use their bare hands. 😱 Then, they have to clean it and remove the ink sac, the stomach, the eyes and the beak. 😖 After that, they boil the octopus with red wine vinegar, white wine and bay leaves until it releases its juices. Then, they sear it on a hot grill with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar and dried Greek oregano for a crispy and flavorful finish. The result is a succulent and aromatic dish that will make you forget all the trouble you went through to get it. 🤤

Greece is a paradise for fish lovers. 🐟 And for fish haters too, because they can always give their fish to me. 😋 You can find a variety of fresh and delicious fish in the markets and tavernas, such as sardines, anchovies, mackerel, smelts, lobster and octopus. You can also enjoy some of the more rare and exotic fish, such as John Dory, comber, dentex and swordfish. But be careful, some of them might bite back. 😬 Whether you prefer them grilled, fried, baked or stewed, you will be amazed by the flavors and aromas of the Greek fish dishes. 🍽 And by the size of your bill. 💸

Greece is a paradise for food lovers. 🇬🇷 From fresh salads and grilled meats to creamy cheeses and crispy pastries, there is something to satisfy every palate. 🥗🍖🧀🥐 Not to mention the delicious desserts, like baklava, loukoumades and halva. 🍰🍩🍯 I’m drooling just thinking about it. 😋

Pin trading! In the beginning, getting the character’s autographs is fun for the kids. As they phase out of wanting to get autographs, they phase into trading and collecting pins. All of the Disney parks have had various pins since their openings. However, it was until 1999 that trading pins became popular. Today, it seems to be a sport.
