Hey y'all!

We're here with a big update to share. We've had to make the difficult decision to shut down the cafe.

We set out to start this project with open hands to see where God wanted to take Room 45-1. Despite our efforts and hopes, Cafe at Room 45-1 does not seem to be a feasible long-term project.

We have no regrets from taking the risk to get the cafe up and running. This has been a special journey for us full of many wonderful things and good lessons. We're thankful for the people we've met and the friends we've made. Thanks for walking this adventure with us for the past while. You are appreciated.

Big shout out to Shepherd's Fold! We are so grateful for their generosity and welcome. We very quickly felt at home in this space above their bookstore.

We're not sure what this means for Room 45-1 as whole. We'll be taking a pause and some time to think and pray through our next steps, whether that is continuing in a different way of moving away from the whole idea.

We'll still be open until the end of June, so if you're looking to stop by you still have a chance. Many blessings and we look forward to seeing you a few more times over the next month and a half!
