BACK ON TWO FEET🙌🏻 🏃🏻

The one with weekly milage back on the rise after a little set back and celebrating 13 years with Meggy! Throw in a Guinness, a new run club, a few pain faces on zwift and my first session in 22 days- I’d say a successful week. Don’t want to be a soppy bf but grateful to have such as strong and supportive gf. Proud of what we’ve been building this year and great to see it go from strength to strength🤪

One final thing….Stranger things. What an end to episode 4. Of you haven’t, you need to watch.

8 plyometric exercises for runners 🏋️‍♂️

Here’s a few new exercises I’m working on as I look to build a stronger runner going into 2026. Plyometrics can supposedly improve running economy, increase speed/power and strengthen tendons to reduce injuries. I’m currently doing this routine twice a week which takes roughly 30-45mins.

With explosive movements, make sure you take your time to get the movement correct and ensure a good warm up. Last think I want is you to go snap your achilles. Start with the more basic hops and with any new stimulus, build things up slowly🤙🏻

A tough call to make, but no for me this year 🇪🇸

As much as I’d love to be out on the streets of sunny Spain chasing another PB to see out the year, I’ve made the decision to focus in on building the foundations for 2026.

Barcelona half- sub 66- February 2026 🇪🇸
Rotterdam marathon- sub 2:20- April 2026 🇳🇱

Big goals. Can’t wait to get after it. Heard two great quotes this week that stuck:
1. Output is more important than outcome.
2. If your mind believes it, your body will achieve it.

Think the cool kids call it winter arc. 🤝🤝
