May flights of winged beagles howl you to your rest, beloved Winston aka Winston the Wonder Beagle aka My Hillbilly Boy. Winston lived his best life for six years with me, and I said goodbye to him this past Monday at the age of 14+. Many thanks to Midwest BREW (Beagle Rescue, Education and Welfare) & Lynn Talg for entrusting me with him, and to the Center for Animal Health for their excellent care. Thanks also to Winston's aunts, JM Staral & Gladys Rhodes Chmiel, for the countless hours spent sharing a sofa with him. I'm gonna miss the old guy.
