Metal Maidens 'Zine We are a webzine about women in (hard)rock and (heavy)metal, established in 1995 by Rita van Poorten (chief-editor) and Toine van Poorten (co-editor).

Our concept is quite original. We strictly focus on the women in heavy (death-black-thrash) metal, hardrock and gothic metal, the most important ladies in punk/new wave and hard- and grindcore, and of course those women, who sing and live the blues. We write about the past and present female or female-fronted bands, singers and musicians. We bring you the latest facts and news and give you the hottest interviews and stories. Furthermore, our website includes the latest CD, demo, DVD, concert reviews and dates and much other female mayhem!!!
