Now, the web site at bouldercity.com has grown to an audience of over 25,000 folks who follow us on our page as well as X, Instagram and the Weekly eNews Summary. Now – with three social media channels, a website and a weekly eNewsletter to choose from, anyone can be a Boulder City Socialite! That’s a little bit of history for you. A couple weeks ago, Deputy City Manager Michael Mays gave a tour of the historic Water Treatment Plant to a group of local residents. The landmark structure is undergoing rehabilitation to make it accessible for limited tours for the public. A similar tour was provided in May, as part of the Historic Preservation Day activities. If you were planning to attend the Nevada Shakespeare Festival's production of Romeo and Juliet this afternoon, sponsored by Main Street Boulder City , unfortunately the weather has caused this event to be canceled. What are the odds that the event would get rained out...twice? Don't worry -- they'll be back in the spring and we can enjoy this community event at that time!

Main Street Update: Shakespeare in the Park

Our Shakespeare in the Park event was scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, November 15 at 2:00 PM at Bicentennial Park, but with an 80–90% chance of rain in the forecast, we unfortunately need to cancel the performance.

Boulder City may be famous for its sunshine, but somehow both of our scheduled dates for this event have been impacted by weather. We know this is disappointing, and we feel it too.

We are working with the Nevada Shakespeare Festival team on future options and anticipate bringing this event back in the spring. Please stay tuned for new dates.
