The very first metal song I ever heard was "Bark at the Moon" in about 1987 or 1988 and I distinctly remember being just absolutely blown away.. Needless to say there are pivotal moments in your life that maybe change the way you think or lead you in a certain direction and that was certainly one of them, and I imagine countless others experienced something similar. So to say this is a long time coming would be an understatement... Exactly ten years ago is when I first started planning the formation of Out of Season, a record label focused on releasing "dungeon synth", dark/medieval ambient music and black metal, and one of the very first artists I wanted to release was MYSTIC TOWERS - an obscure project with no information or location, just sparse one color fantasy art and droning songs, that while simple could evoke emotions and nostalgia of simpler times past. Long story short, it is now 2025 and we are extremely happy to FINALLY be able to present the two Chapters in the Vinyl and Tape format, fully sanctioned by the project. Available as single editions or a special deluxe 2LP/2Tape set with OBI, numbered, with 2 patches. Available: This Friday July 25, 12pm noon Eastern along with a distro update.
