LOOK: The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) - Kawit facilitated the executive briefing for newly elected municipal officials this Thursday at the Sangguniang Bayan hall.

Local government department heads briefed the elected officials on the status of the municipality's governance areas, including financial administration, disaster preparedness, social protection and sensitivity, health compliance, business-friendliness, safety, environmental management, tourism, and youth development, which are also assessment criteria for the Seal of Good Local Government.

LOOK: Mayor Armie Aguinaldo met with the Binakayan Public Market administration and inspected the ongoing construction this Wednesday.

Together with the Engineering Department, Mayor Aguinaldo visited the areas in the public market undergoing construction particularly the wet market section where meat and fish products are sold.

LOOK: Mayor Armie Aguinaldo leads the initiative of improving the local government's health services by meeting with the Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital (STRH) this Tuesday.

Joined by the Sangguniang Bayan and Cong. Jolo Revilla's office, Mayor Aguinaldo, and the STRH discussed plans to enhance and expand the local government's capacity to serve health-related issues and needs of Kawiteños.

LOOK: Kawit held its 3rd Mariscos Festival, where the municipality celebrates its seafood industry.

The town held a parade featuring various seafoods caught and sold by Kawiteño fisherfolks, and the Karakol Dance Competition, where elementary schools and pastoral councils perform their own rendition of the traditional dance.

LOOK: Presiding Officer Vice Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo and the Sangguniang Bayan made public security, peace and order, and road safety its priority for their first regular session this Tuesday at the municipal hall.

The body invited the new Kawit Municipal Police Station Chief, LtCol. Resty Soriano, and Land Transportation Office (LTO) Cavite District Chief Jennifer Orozco to discuss peace and order initiatives, and road safety guidelines and "no plate, no franchise" implementation for Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA), respectively.
