History The name "Beanibazar", is a variant of 'Bihani Bazaar' which means "morning market". It is one of the richest city in Bangladesh. In the past, Beanibazar was surrounded mostly by jungles infested with wild beasts that attacked people regularly at night. They made it almost impossible for the ...residents to go to bazaar after dusk to buy or sell daily necessary items. For this reason most
of the shopping activities were held in the morning and hence the name Biyani Bazaar.[citation needed] Previously,[when?] Beanibazar was constituent part of Panchakhanda, which means "Five Parts". ↑Jump back a section Geography Beanibazar is located at 24.8250°N 92.1625°E.
