Hey crew! Josh here… This week is a heavy one, blood sweat and sanding. We are doing our best to smash through the work but this is the hardest job yet, the physical demands of sanding a catamaran of this scale has been almost too much. We are tired, we are sore but we are pushing on! Join us for the highs and lows on YouTube

Look, we’re good at lots of things, but sanding our foam sandwich KSS 56?? Not so much. Our Adams35 Innerbloom was steel - we know how to handle it, we know ...

Hey crew Josh here! I’ve dreamt of this day since we started the project, getting both our 75hp turbo diesel Volvo Penta motors running was a job that wouldn’t have been possible without the help of one special man. Cheers to Brett for volunteering his 38 years of mechanical experience on the KSS and bringing the motors that will show us the world (when we can’t sail) back to life. Yaahoooooooooo!!!!!!

FINALLY! What a relief to have both of our Volvo Penta D275 engines working after 15years idle and forgotten. This episode is another nitty gritty dive into ...

Hello dear friends! Josh here, we took a massive gamble on this boat having just four hours to inspect before making the call to jump in at auction. Something that lay over our heads constantly was the state of these engines, when my mind wondered I would ponder. Would we be able to bring them back to life, would I have the skills necessary, how would we afford new ones if these weren’t any good? This episode we learn our fate there’s good news, there’s bad news and there I is one bloke who makes it all manageable.
Argggggh!

It all comes down to this! Learning firsthand from Brett makes our attempts at the engines a couple of weeks ago seem like childsplay. This is the episode we...

Hey crew!! Josh here, if you’ve been waiting to see us build the missing rudders for our new KSS-57 then this is the episode for you! All our effort and time planning and designing these crucial bits of equipment has come together in one episode. We are so bloody stoked to be sharing this with you guys 😆🩵

Last week we started the work on our rudder tangs - shaping and gluing Coosa board as per the advice from fellow yachtsman. But when you're working with new-...

We are building rudders from scratch! Any idea how to do it? Nor do we.. let’s dive in together in this weeks episode live on our YT
Josh ❤️

Rudders have been our number one priority on this abandoned catamaran rebuild - and since we were quoted $50,000 to have them made, we’ve decided to take the...

Hey guys! Josh here, this video really captures life cruising aboard our 35ft Adams. Island hopping the Great Barrier Reef with our lizard, stopping to explore along the way and cherishing the moments in between. It’s taken two years for me to get Phoebe on a memorable fish (doesn’t help that I struggle to catch them myself 😅) but it was worth the wait. This is a video we will look back on with fond memories in years to come!
Ps we had to delete and reupload this episode as the original was flagged for nudity, 350gb later and two uploads it was flagged again 🫠 don’t mind the blurs, enjoy the ride!

This week, everything came together - a cracking downwind sail, fishing along the reef and mangroves and creating the kind of memories that stay with you for...

Hey crew! Josh here, this week we are up the creek without a rudder (I’ve been waiting so long to say that) but seriously we bought this KSS-58 and she has no rudders! It’s one of the big unknowns on this project as we have come from a steel boat background with our Adams 35. That means we have no glassing experience and have never worked with foam. This project requires us to be learning everything on the fly, including how to design the rudders. Because yep, we don’t have boat plans either! How will we do it? Jump in to find out 😁

This week we’re tackling what might be the biggest challenge of our project so far: designing the rudders for our Derek Kelsall catamaran. With just 6 weeks ...

Hey crew it’s Josh here, this week I’m captaining a Time Machine, ready for a trip? Early to mid 2000’s gave us many great things- GPS, YouTube, iPods but most importantly Pimp My Ride. Jump in, we hope you have as much fun was we did with this one, are stoked to be sharing it with you 🩵

We're saying goodbye to the Portabote and hello to an inflatable tender! The catch is, it's deflated, dirty and in need of some LURVVV! This week we're payin...

Hello dear friends! Josh here, this is where our minds are at so often when slogging away on the new project! It’s so awesome to be running a parallel time line on YT with our adventures from a year ago on our Adams 35 one week and the next week our present day getting our the KSS-58 ready to float. Which is your fav? This ep is a wholesome one and we hope you enjoy it 🩵

These past few weeks have been a wild ride: deadlines, invoices, boatyard drama and a boat project that only seems to be expanding in size and scale. But the...

Hello dear friends, Josh here! Want to see us spend the most amount of money we have ever had? This week we officially lock in as the new owners, settling on our new Kelsall Catamaran. Phoebe and I work together on getting the boat ready for the big jobs to start, but most excitingly we get relocated! Finally get our first glimpse of how big she actually is 🫣 we are frothing! Keen to hear what you think!

This week we’re tying up all the little jobs that have been hanging over us before we dive headfirst into the real refit. From the sale yard to the boatyard,...

Hello crew! We are back sailing aboard Innerbloom this week celebrating last years anniversary 💕
Nature turns it on - yellow sand, blue water, whales and good sailing. What more could we ask for basking in each others company? Maybe some hot chips…

This is how we celebrate our anniversary, the sailor’s way - stripped back and free! This episode we're taking it back to July 2024 as we celebrate 5 years o...

Ahoy, me hearties! Josh here to share the great news that we have dropped our next Cat video. This one is a bit of a roller coaster as we dive into what we can find out on the history of this KSS-58. We are cleaning this beautiful boat and uncovering its unusual history, check it out ❤️

This episode will mark our first week as the new owners of an abandoned Catamaran - a boat that has never yet had the chance to glide across oceans. After ov...
