He came to me in pain.

Ulcer so bad he couldn’t sleep.

He was on four drugs. But still drinking juice. Still taking yogurt. Still eating crackers and thinking they were “light.”

He had been told to “eat small small” and “never skip meals.”

They never told him that sugar feeds H. pylori.
