It’s hard to believe we’ve been on the road for just over a 𝑴𝑶𝑵𝑻𝑯 already!

If you’re new here — we’re 𝑨 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒕𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 🌱 Mack, Tessa & Ziggie… plus our newest addition, Margo, our vintage Campervan (aka. our home on wheels!)

The truth is, life on the road isn’t always as picturesque as it seems — there have been highs and lows, and every day brings new lessons, challenges and emotions. But that’s all part of the adventure, right?

Come along as we navigate our new life 🗺️ explore more of the UK (soon to be Europe) and share our journey along the way. We can’t wait to share more of what we’re been up to! ❤️

𝑭𝑨𝑹𝑴 𝑺𝑯𝑶𝑷𝑺 🐄🍅🥚🌱🥖🌽🥕🧀🍄‍🟫🍑🫐

Discovering little farm shops & filling our van up with fresh local produce has become one of our favourites things to do on the road (are we officially old?) Honestly though, I don’t think we’ve ever eaten so well!

Welsh butter and fresh duck eggs (look at the size of them!) are our new obsession. We also had THE BEST pork and apple burgers from and we’ve been dreaming of them ever since! 🥹

Nearly 3 weeks on the road and it still feels a little surreal that this is actually 𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬 🥹🌱

Truth is, we’ve been plotting and dreaming of vanlife ever since we hired a camper in Bali — and believe us, there’s been plenty of hard work (and more than a few menty b’s) behind the scenes over the past 2 years. But that’s a story for another day!

Wildly enough, this is our first time properly exploring the UK… and Wales has already completely blown us away! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿✨ We spent the first couple of weeks easing into life on the road, and now here’s a little dump of what we’ve been up to so far. Camera rolls and hearts full.

Can’t wait to bring you along as we settle into this new chapter 𝑨𝑺 𝑽𝑨𝑵 𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬𝑹𝑺!

Reminiscing on one of our favourite places — 𝑴𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑨. An ancient city carved into the rock, just a short drive from Puglia. A UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the oldest cities in the world!

We were lucky to share a bit about it in a feature ‘Journey of the Senses’ last year.

Wearing 〰️ .life, and exploring one of our favourite little islands in Sri Lanka.

We’ve been in a limbo period this last couple of years, feeling a little lost, asking big questions, & practicing a whole lot of patience. But when we zoom out & look at the bigger picture… 𝑯𝑶𝑾 𝑳𝑼𝑪𝑲𝒀 𝑨𝑹𝑬 𝑾𝑬? To have time, to have so many magical people in our lives spread all across the globe, to have options & opportunities, to have each other.

Grateful for every little thing. ❤️

𝑮𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒐’𝒔 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌!

No, this isn’t a wedding announcement & we haven’t actually got married yet (Mack keeps getting roped into photoshoots, so when we do eventually get married it’s probably going to be a boy cried wolf situation) 𝒃𝒖𝒕 〰️ we are officially back on Instagram after a big old break, and we can’t wait to start sharing more of our adventures (and likely more fake weddings) with you.

Not quite sure how to process that there’s only 12 days of the year left…

But feeling inspired after seeing a post about going through each month of the year & reminiscing on something great that happened that month (as a way to reflect and express gratitude of what the year has brought) we decided to do it ourselves — and, well… it turns out lots of great things happened! 🥹

So here’s our wrap of 2024 〰️ we can’t wait to see yours too!

We have truly never been anywhere like Madeira. The natural beauty around every corner is actually overwhelming at times 🌱🪨 with endless ‘Miradouros’ (Viewpoints), waterfalls & flowers at every turn.

This natural archway, we found in Ponta do Sol was the perfect little frame & such a peaceful little hideaway above the crashing waves below.

It’s officially 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 🍁🕸️ 
Fanal Forrest is a place that feels straight out of a fairytale book 〰️ eerie movie set ☁️🌳☁️ This ancient laurel forest is known for its mystical fog which, amongst the twisted branches creates this incredible mysterious & unique atmosphere.

Can you believe this place actually exists?

Madeira, is known as ‘𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒔’ and it’s easy to see why. 🪻🪻🪻 These beautiful agapanthus ‘African lily’ can be found all over the island & they quickly became our favourites.
