When you feel confused or face challenges, don't rely on people for help. We often look to imperfect, limited humans for strength when we could turn to the perfect, unlimited God for help.

We should trust less in what people can do and trust more in what God can do for everyone who believes.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲.

Be careful in comparing what you have with others.

Remember the story of Naomi and Elimelech?

The rule in those days is not to mingle with the Moabites. But there was famine on the land. There's no way to tell how long it could last. A year or seven just like in Egypt. It means shortage of food. Moab wasn't struggling with famine.

Not minding the rule, Elimelech moved his whole family to Moab instead of staying and trusting God.

I can imagine Elimelich's worries for his family. It must be frightening. And the temptation of what Moab can provide must have caused him to leave.

Now, to make the long story short, Elimelech died. So as his two sons.

In life, the most important part is to discern whether we are being led by God's call or by our own temptations. What's more, is.. It is in the most frightening situation that we often stumble. Whether we stay or leave; worry or trust.

Elimelech's story shows that walking away has consequences. To him is his death, and Naomi is the loss of her family.

That's why the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Whatever God has entrusted to us, wherever He places us, there is hope that we will bloom and never wilt. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is merciful.

"The grass is always green, and the soil for God's love and grace will always be fertile where God leads you."

The grass is truly only greener in Christ.

How do you respond when a mistake has been made with your fast-food order?

If you're 6'3 and weigh 270 pounds, people don't recommend crawling through the drive-through window.

But that's exactly what happened when a University of Kansas football player realized a chalupa was left out of his Taco Bell order. He got so angry that he tried to climb through the 14-by-46 inch drive-through window and got stuck.

The frightened manager and employees locked themselves in an office and called the police.

The police pulled up to the drive-through and laughed hysterically as they discovered the legs and back end of the football player kicking in mid-air.

Sergeant George Wheeler said, "𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘨𝘶𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘢 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦."

Our actions are often just as silly--though perhaps more ordinary--when we get angry; intentionally cutting down a person in front of others, getting into a fistfight, starting a mean rumor (whether true or not), or giving someone the silent treatment.

Though these are very human responses...

𝙀𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 4:31-32 reminds us to, "𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝙧𝙞𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧, 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚. 𝘽𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩, 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪."

A love like no other.

Some have come to terms with not stopping until one thing is done and achieved--good grades, careers, stable jobs, fads, and fashion trends. Just anything to get by and not to be left behind.

He tells us..
