đ¤ The Call - Ps Bande Kentane
Psalm 23
âThe Lord is my Shepherd.â
Before He is your Provider, Protector, or Guide, He must first be your King.
When the Lord is your Shepherd:
⢠You have no lack in direction, provision, or protection.
⢠He leads you into places of true rest, where your soul is restored.
⢠He renews your thinking, heals your emotions, and aligns your will with His.
⢠Even when you walk through the valley, you donât live there. Youâre just passing through because youâre following the Shepherd.
The valley isnât proof that God has left you. Sometimes itâs evidence that youâre answering His call. If He has led you there, He will also lead you through.
His rod brings protection. His staff brings correction. His presence brings courage.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound, disciplined mind (2 Timothy 1:7). So donât keep looking at the valley, keep your eyes on the Shepherd.
He prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies. His covenant still stands. His protection still works. His peace is still available.
The question isnât, âWhere am I walking?â Itâs, âWho am I walking with?â
Donât treat God like a slot machine for desperate moments. Build intimacy with Him daily. Follow Him when life is good and when life is hard.
The call is simple:
Make Jesus your Shepherd and King.
Cultivate intimacy with Him.
Keep following Him through every season.
âSurely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.â â Psalm 23:6
