HIGHLIGHTS | Palo NHS celebrates its Acquaintance Party 2025 🎉

☀️ Summer vibes filled the grounds of Palo NHS as its acquaintance party commenced on August 1! 💃🕺

Students played games, danced to live music 🎶, and cooled off with firehose showers. 💦🚒

Teachers and students also performed during the sundown concert.

Palo NHS kicks off its Buwan ng Wika '25

In celebrating the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2025 this month of August, the Filipino Department began with a meaningful mass and a fun-filled Laro ng Lahi, showcasing traditional Filipino games that celebrate creativity, culture, and unity—true to this year’s theme: ''Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.''

HIGHLIGHTS | Palo NHS intramurals '25 ⚽

The Intramurals 2025 finish on a high note as students from all grade levels enter the campus with colorful, coded t-shirts and a fire to unleash their sportsmanship on August 1.

Teams have gathered on the school quadrangle, raising their banners. Whereas Palarong Pambansa and EVRAA players lit the Olympic urn.

A dance mob was also held with chosen coaches, MAPEH teachers, and students from the Special Program in the Arts.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Training on the Revised K–12 MATATAG Curriculum ➡️ Phase 2

Grade 3 and Grade 8 teachers from Areas 1, 2A, 2B, and 5A of Leyte Division gathered at Palo National High School on June 26, 2025, for Day 1 of the Training on the Revised K–12 MATATAG Curriculum.

This three-day training aims to orient and capacitate participants on the salient features of the Phase 2 Revised K–12 Curriculum, equipping them with the knowledge of its processes, flow, and core concepts for effective implementation.
