So I've been working on a 4th book in the Adventures of Hot Rod Todd Children's illustrated story books along with illustrator
Cameo Anderson - Writer / Illustrator Cameo Anderson and
Ashlee Kiser but ......... though I liked the story line I simply wasn't feeling it. That said, both Cameo and Ashlee are extremely patient with me as my books have a habit of evolving as they go along - me bad.
I was looking for something that's important to the characters and story line that's sort of there, but not there - like appears to be one thing but in fact it's another - perhaps.
Tried out fairies, pixies, cherubs et al but ...... well everyone uses them so thought WTF I will simply invent a character to simply be there maybe quietly keeping any eye on things ......... that character ----- well heck hows about a PixieFly. Half mischievous Pixie and half beautiful butterfly. Here's a couple of them and yes, we do have a 'boy' one in the works too 🙂

STRUGGLING - aaaaargh

In the process of putting together a 4th book in the Adventures of Hot Rod Todd series featuring Countess Czari, She is the pups beloved aunt and somewhat of an 'Adventurer'. Inevitably there's all sorts of ups and downs and intrigue but ..........

I'm 'sort of' in love with the story line but, trouble is, despite all the input and help from Cameo Anderson - Writer / Illustrator and Ashlee Kiser I'm simply NOT 'feeling it' despite revisiting it a number of times and tweaking some of the spreads story lines.
