A very sad day in the Red Special community as we learn of the passing of our dear friend Ulli Hunger.

Ulli was the best of us and embodied everything great about the Red Special Community. A true shining light in a dark world with an infectious passion for collaboration and friendship.

In 2023 we were able to see you win an award for your dedication to the community, which was presented by no less than brianmayforreal. A very special moment to witness.

Rest in peace my dear Ulli - we will all make sure your legacy lives on and you are celebrated 💔

UPDATE - Red Special Meet-Up Raffle

We have had some amazing donations this year to the Red Special Guitar Meet-Up Raffle, some shown in the photos and some to be revealed on the day.

Remember its minimum £10 donation per ticket (you can donate more) and a maximum of 5 tickets per person. Please bring cash on the day to save on card fees please but we do have a card machine to use too.

Dear Friends , not long to go until we get to see all your lovely faces at the Red Special Guitar Meet- Up. I’m sure the years are going quicker than they used to.

Polite reminder this is a private ticket only event. Please only bring two guitars and stands to display your lovely instruments where you can.

Safe travels to one and all who are attending from all across the far reaches of the globe to get to the meet up safely.

Can’t wait to see you all and share a couple of days with some passionate Red Special devotees

Not long to go now until the RS Meet-Up 2025.

The final preparations being made and sorted. A lot goes on behind the scenes to make this day happen and it has grown considerably since the first one we ran in 2017.
