Here is an easy way to use basic verbs to get you by and the most simple way to negate with the word 'mish' meaning not. You can also use 'Ana' plus your name to say who you are and add the 'Mish' after Ana if they got your name wrong! Please post any Questions.

Here are some basic Arabic greetings. I have also written the Arabic script and my transliteration to help with pronunciation.

However you may prefer your own transliteration because it all depends on how you phonetically write in English. I haven't included all of the correct accents on the Arabic script because that's hard and I have typed them myself rather than copy and paste.

I won't go too much into masculine feminine and plural here but asalam alayk*m is plural, the k*m makes it plural but it's fine to use in any situation (in my view). Also Ahlan wa Sahlan is plural, the an makes it plural so the singular is Ahla wa Sahla but again don't worry too much about this as all is acceptable in informal situations. Any questions feel free to ask but I can't go too much into the deep grammar of Arabic because I'm not there yet myself. Good luck
