Franklin County 4 Wheelers Big Money Race on 4th of July weekend, many races with finish margins of less than 1 thousandth of a second, ends with last years points champion on top, Chris Ferry ending up number 1, Blake Cole 2nd, Daryl Klem 3rd and Wade Pruitt 4th. Jeff waters got the Closest to Dial in award, and Wade Pruitt got a little more with the best reaction of the night. Then the second chance race of Round 1 losers ended with Austin Bullock getting the win over last years race winner Timmy Estridge.

Erik Eshbaugh was involved in an accident yesterday at Silverback Offroad Speedway while making a time trial for the 3.25 Index class.

A post was made by his wife, Courtney, saying the following:
"We just want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, calls, and messages — it truly means so much to us. Please forgive us if we haven't responded; our focus right now is on letting Erik rest and begin his road to recovery.

Erik was in an accident at the track yesterday while riding his bike. We are incredibly grateful he’s alive, but it’s going to be a long journey ahead. We’ll be meeting with the surgeon on Monday, and it looks like surgery will be on Wednesday. If all goes well, he’ll be able to come home shortly after to start physical therapy and healing.

Please continue to keep Erik in your thoughts and prayers — we feel every bit of your support. I’ll keep everyone updated as we know more. 💙"

Eshbaugh was clocked on the run with a 3.28 ET at 100.4 mph in the 300ft drag strip.
