Big things are brewing at Lake Murray Coffee Express… and it’s way more than delicious coffee, smoothies & sweet teas!

They’ve moved into the old Hillbilly Farmers Market spot—and while you’ll still find local produce and fresh goodies, the vision here goes far beyond a farmers market.

Think:
☕ Coffee with a cause
🌱 Hands-on farm + nature learning for kids and families
📚 A Carolina Farm School that will teach everything from planting seeds to peeking at leaves under a microscope, composting and more!
🍰 Homemade treats from 100-year-old family recipes (all the way from North Dakota!)
🤸‍♂️ Bounce house
🙌 Outdoor sitting area to chat and relax while kids play

Right now, you can swing by for drive-thru coffee + treats (6 am–12 pm), with fresh Bake Drops Wednesdays and Saturdays. And coming soon? Küchen (a German treat - think sweet bread custard pie with fruit—yes, please). We tried the Great Pumpkin Latte and it was delish! 👍

Classes launch in the spring, and we’ve even heard whispers about a Halloween event for families… 👀

We can’t spill it all just yet, but trust us—this is going to be something special for the Town of Chapin, South Carolina community and beyond.
