We had a good morning today. None were huge, but all were perfect eating size. The largest was 20", and the rest were all the same size at 19.25". All were caught on the shrimptreuse polk county tweaker from Salt Strong. I kept 3 and gave the last one to my buddy, who was fishing with me.

Each location you can press on and it will tell you if theirs an advisory in the area and how bad. It also shows you the most recent sample taken.

We had an awesome morning in the creeks! I sight fished the 2 big reds. They came in at 27" and 24.5". The smallest came in at 19". Aaron ended up with 2 really good reds as well. We also caught quite a few flounder, but I threw all of mine back since they were just over 12". Every fish, and I mean every fish, was caught on the Shrimptreuse Polk County Tweaker from Salt Strong on 10-pound braid and a 15-pound mono leader. This trip made it well worth it to lose sleep.

Had a fun quick trip with some friends this morning. All of us got on them I got these 2 beauties in the creeks. All of our fish were caught in a foot or less. Got plenty of bites on topwater but no hook sets. The Salt Strong shrimptreuse tweaker got it done though. Got off the water by 9 to go spend some time with family but dinner is secured!

pretty fun morning deep in the marsh creeks hunting down reds. all caught on A.M. Fishing lures using the golden gringlow for the flounder and the U.V. Rootbeer for the red, both rigged on the Locked Up JIgheads. Flounder came in at 18" and the red cam in at 20". Saw way more than I caught, the reds were super finicky.

Slow morning yesterday but managed to catch this half blind red on the A.M. Fishing golden gringlow. Put up a fun fight and came in at 23.5”. Got off the water by 8:30 bite was dead right at 8

Didn’t have much to bring home from yesterdays trip of chasing birds all day. Caught tons and tons of specks under the birds but nothing of size so I decided to dig in the freezer for some trout I caught a while back and make some blackened trout fish dip and put it on some toasted jalapeño cheddar sourdough bread. Let me tell you it was finger licking good.

If you’re wondering about the recipe I used Compass Point Blend LLC blackened blend on the trout on four trout fillets, a diced whole onion, 1 cup of mayonnaise, and a 1/4 cup of Tabasco sauce mixed it all together in a bowl and voila. Easy simple and delicious.
