A FAMILY AFFAIR EPISODE 13
Paco descended down the stairs to head to the basement. He went through Carol’s things to ascertain whether the letter he read was written by his mother. He searched through the documents and verified that the hand writing in Mr Lando’s letter was indeed his mother’s handwriting.
He recalled when the lawyer read his mother’s will and the farm house was giving to his wife. He was in the basement when Drew came there since he saw the door ajar. Paco said he was looking for something that was the reason he got there.
Drew got to his room and Seb was also in bed with his wife making lĹŤve. The following morning, Paco joined Cherry on the breakfast table. He informed his wife that he would drive her to the center. Cherry said it was good because she would no longer get lost again.
Cherry said she woke up last night and could not find him by her side. Paco made up an excuse. Cherry asked him what he would do if he should find out that a loved one had done something against his family. Paco answered that he might probably k!ll. He then asked Cherry why she asked that and she claimed it was nothing.
Paco went to his office and read the change of ownership of the ranch to Cherry Magwayen’s name. He wondered whether aside from his mother, there was a different person who knew about his father being the cause of Heidi’s deà th.
He recalled how Dave handed over the ranch to Cherry and told him that he did that for a deeper reason. He wondered if Dave knew that the farm their father occupied was earlier for the Magwayens that was the reason he gave the ranch to Cherry aside from his løve for Cherry.
Dave joined Becca at the resort with his luggage to stay there with her. Drew also informed Paco that Dave was no longer staying in the house and believed they would now have their peace. He, however, said Dave assured to come over to the office to look at his presentation.
Cherry refused to attend the proposal meeting. During the presentation, Drew did well and both Paco and Dave accepted the integration pitch. Both congratulated Drew. Dave was leaving, when Paco called Dave for a private talk. But before he would say a word, he received a text from someone that he had seen Me Lando.
He decided to leave but told Dave that they had to talk. Cherry congratulated Drew for doing well now. Paco went to the center and tried to convince Lando to make him read the letter but Lando scrambled it and threw it away. He also fled. Paco heaved a sigh of relief when he got hold of the paper but realized it was not the letter.
Cherry began searching Seb on social media and realised he had lots of followers but they were all women and wondered who among them was his løver. Dave was sitting in front of a bonfire and was wondering what Paco wanted to ask. He thought that Cherry had informed him about what he confessed to her.
Becca approached and he excused himself, telling Becca that he wanted to make a call. Cherry was startled to have seen Dave’s call. She did not pick it but was wondering why he was calling. Since Cherry did not receive the call, he joined Becca and she asked him whether he called the President for him to have excused himself.
Dave then said he called Paco because he wanted to talk to him. Becca gave him the liberty to visit Paco and even give the family an invitation to their resort launch. Cherry visited Colleen to find out if she and Seb had been consuming their marriage as couples should and whether everything was okay between them and Colleen said yes.
Paco raided the house of Lando in an attempt to find the letter. The man came to meet him and he convinced him to give him the letter in exchange for money. The man wanted noodles instead. Paco asked him where he got the letter and Lando said he found it on a deĂ d body at a certain cliff.
Paco tried to sn**ch the letter. Lando used a broken bottle to stab Paco. Cherry caught Seb red handed and asked him why he was cheating on his wife. Since he couldn’t deny it anymore, he admitted to the truth but was ready to make his marriage work since Colleen was a good woman.
Cherry asked why he did that and he said he might have cheated due to how Colleen was bothering him about the inheritance, thus did not get the joy and that simple life he was enjoying so he was yearning for that joy.
Dave and Becca went to the house and Cherry got home to meet them. She called Paco to ask where he was since his brother and Becca were there. He lied to Cherry that he was on his way to the house.
Dave followed Cherry to ask if she told Paco what he confessed to her and she said no. She was aware that it could lead to a fight. Soon, Cherry received a call from the hospital and together with Dave and Becca, they rushed to the hospital.
Paco lied that he was riding a horse but he did not see that there was a nail on what he used to saddle it and got cut. Dave invited him and Cherry to the resort launch. Cherry, looking at Paco’s situation told Dave that they couldn’t go but Paco insisted that they would be able to go.
He was discharged and his wife led him home. She wanted him to confess the truth to her as to how he got ståbbed. Paco insisted on his lies and changed the topic to Cherry’s parents. Cherry said she did not know much about her mother because Heidi diëd when she was two years old.
All she knew was their house got burnt down so her father took care of her and later traveled abroad. At that time Drew was at the gate ready to inform Paco about permission to further his university education to complete his Masters Degree.
He overheard Paco saying when her father returned, he was also k!lled and promised to reopen her father’s case to find the culprit to bring the person to book. Drew recalled how he hit the head of Panyong for him to dië and rushed out. He was feeling too emotional and his episode might even trigger.
