Laguna Studios is a woman-owned independent comic book company with a team spread out all over the world. They create, print, and publish high-quality comics. The co-founders:

Laurie Foster (Writer/Inker/Managing Editor): Laurie has been drawing for more than 15 years and professionally inking for 8. She is also a graphic designer, editor, and cosplayer! Erik Lewis (Art Director/Designer/Writer/C

hief Fulfillment Officer):
Erik is a professional illustrator, painter, and graphic designer with over 25 years of experience. He is also an accomplished musician, personal trainer, and cat lover. Sarah Lewis (Creative Director/IT Coordinator): Sarah has been working in IT and cybersecurity for 10 years. She enjoys playing video games, watching movies, and drinking margaritas. Crystal Duron (Social Media Manager/Client Engagement Coordinator): Crystal has been an artist for over 20 years and participates in events, art shows, and pop-up shops. She enjoys creating horror artwork, collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and playing video games.

LAGUNA NEWS - We are temporarily postponing our planned book releases into physical retail stores for 2025 and pushing most of them into 2026. This decision comes in light of the ongoing uncertainties surrounding Diamond Distribution and its recent acquisition and restructuring process, and Diamond staff agreed this was the best course of action right now.

We value our relationships with retailers and want to ensure a smooth and confident ordering process for all parties involved. By delaying releases, we are aiming to provide stability and reassurance to buyer and fans, and we thought that best accomplished by waiting until Diamond Distribution's transition is complete and its future operations are clearly defined.

We remain committed to bringing our diverse range of titles to readers, and we plan to announce updated release schedules once the situation with Diamond Distribution stabilizes. In the meantime, digital releases and online sales will continue as planned!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

Just an FYI: Laguna Studios is postponing all TRADE PPB releases with Diamond until later this year. We will be maintaining our partnership with them, but waiting until their company is in a more stable position with all of the antics from Alliance. We (and the retailers purchasing our books) agree that pushing the release will allow them to order more books in the future when they are assured that things won't go t**s up. 🙂

Our likely release schedule will be:

Cthulhu is Hard to Spell Vol. 1 in October 2025
DARE Book 1 in March 2026
Finding Dee Vol 1 in June 2026
The Surgeon Vol 1 in August 2026
