Cyber Fraud in the name of Income Tax REFUND - CAUTION !!!

One important announcement
For all of those who have Income Tax return and have received an e-mail stating that there has been an error in calculating your tax and a refund has to be issued, please ignore it.
It is circulated by hackers. Once you click on the link it will direct you to a net banking login page and once you login into it, your bank account will be hacked.

Please ignore such emails. Income tax department will send an intimation about refunds/ payable through a proper notice.

If you check the sender's address it would appear as [email protected]
(this id is of a hacker)

It should be, [email protected]

Note the ‘e’ is missing from ‘efiling’ & *filing* is spelt as *Filling* is spelt as FILLING.

I'm back with a fraud awareness update to keep you safe.

Using a credit card 💳 is easy 😌
but falling for a credit card scam is easier. 😨

Fraudsters steal your credit card information such as card number, PIN, CVV, etc. by phishing or taking your card to make unauthorised purchases or transfers😭.

To put a limit and eventually stop their tricks❌, note down the following tips.📝

DOs:
🟢 Review your credit card statements and transaction history regularly and check for suspicious activity.

🟢 Disable your credit card through your bank's app or contact your bank if your card is lost or stolen to prevent unauthorised use.

DON'Ts:
🔴 Don't give your credit card to unknown people and demand to get the payment machine in front of you to make payments using your card.

🔴 Don't click on links or download attachments from unknown emails, messages, or websites that ask for your credit card information.
