👟 Back 2 School 🎨

My kids came home from school shopping with my dad with these blank shoes. Apparently they decided that it would be cool if I painted them some custom kicks of their own to rock this year. They each gave me some creative direction and briefly helped me paint before they decided to let me do all the work 😂

They were stoked on they turned out and I once again became the cool dad 😎

🍩 ambassador day ♥️

Yesterday was soooooooo cool! Kwik Trip invited dozens of their social media ambassadors to La Crosse, Wisconsin to celebrate an incredible year and to wine and dine us.
•
I got to the hotel the night before and when I walked into my room they had an epic swag bag for me with some seriously sweet goodies. A couple past guests of the show (and fellow Kwik Trip ambassadors) were already in town so we met up with for a few pregame rounds before calling it a night.
•
The next morning we carpooled over to the absolutely MASSIVE Kwik Trip campus to have breakfast and mingle with all the other brand ambassadors. There were people who travelled from South Dakota, West Virginia, and even Florida! Literally dozens of my favorite creators online, and even a handful of past guests from the show were there.
•
They split us into 2 groups and gave us tours of all of their buildings including Dairy, Bakery, Sweets, the DC, and more. We spent the morning in fancy smocks hearing and seeing all the insider secrets. We even got to try some of the new food items that aren’t out yet and even got to have a Q&A with the chef that comes up with all the recipes!
•
Next we had lunch and watched a few fun presentations of everyone’s posts, what’s coming in 2026, etc before a short break for people to check into the hotel who hadn’t yet.
•
After that was an open bar courtesy of Kwik Trip that many of us took full advantage of before a fancy dinner and the Golden Glazers awards.
•
Of course the party couldn’t stop there so a bunch of us bar hopped the night away with our new friends. Expect to see some as future guests on the show 👀
•
Big thanks to Kwik Trip, the team, all the ambassadors, and everyone else that made this one of most memorable days I’ve had in some time. Can’t wait for next year!!!

🎨 Leo and Cleo 🎨
•
A good buddy of mine bought a storage container for his backyard and asked me to paint the side that faced his neighbors yard so that they didn’t have to stare at the big and ugly box. He let me paint whatever I wanted, so I free handed these fun little monsters dancing in their backyard.
•
Finding time to paint this past year has been a real challenge, but this was an opportunity I felt that I couldn’t pass up.
•
I will admit that painting on that ridged surface was a lot harder that I was anticipating 😅
•
I still may tweak it a bit, but I’m calling it done for now. I hope y’all dig it ☀️

🏝️ Madeline Island, Wisconsin 🏝️

We booked our campsite for Big Bay State Park months ago and had been looking forward to finally taking a few days off all together in sun. I had never actually been to Madeline Island before so this was a brand new experience all around. We agreed for a no screens trip for all of us which made it especially refreshing. Days like these are to be treasured. ❤️

Literally nothing else you can do in this world compares to the sensation of jumping out of a plane. •Is it scary? Yes•Do I think everyone should try it at least once in their lives? Absolutely•The fact that we live in an age where you can just jump out of a plane any random afternoon that you feel like is pretty incredible. It honestly feels like a crime to not take advantage of that. If you’re visiting the area, or are a resident, this is definitely the place to check off that bucket list item. The small team at Skydive Wissota feels like a family that just wants to share their passion for flying. They really listened and made me feel comfortable and confident through the whole process. Not to mention how epic it is to see Lake Wissota while you’re falling thousands of feet above it.
