This is a written statement from Alex Parker. Co-founder and Director of Run Tingz.
“As some of you would have heard on the grape vine, I was arrested in late October and charged with conspiracy and intent to supply class A & B drugs.
I was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court today.
I'm not hiding from this, I’ve been remanded in HMP Cardiff for the past 6 months and am still to find out where I will serve the rest of my sentence.
I fully understand the seriousness of my crimes and have been preparing myself for a lengthy sentence since I was first arrested.
I offer my sincerest apologies to everyone affected, not just people close to me and my family. As someone who has struggled with addiction for 25 years, I can relate to anyone suffering in this way. I'm 24 weeks clean now, so hopefully at some point people can be helped by my sobriety.
A lot of people have contacted me or people around me asking what's going on with Run Tingz. Unfortunately due to the nature of my crimes, the studio was turned over really badly. Most of the backbone of the studio, including computers, hard drives, etc., were seized.

In the last year, I have been producing music again as Run Tingz Cru, working alongside the talented producer Kommz. I have managed to save the release schedule, which will be running bi-monthly. 15 years of Run Tingz is coming, so I've also got a multimedia package that will be released this year.
