Western Maryland 1309 live reaction to CPKC merger.

We had the chance while chasing the Western Maryland Scenic train to wait at the very popular Helmstetter's Curve. The train moves slowly through here since its such a long curve and is going up hill at this spot.

I was able to get a great angle of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Locomotive leaving the Station in Akron Ohio. I had to get my camera exactly between the fence so I was unable to move with the train.

Horseshoe Curve in Altoona PA is an amazing place to watch trains roll by. Amatrak is even more special as the amtrak employees wave as they go by.
