At Faerie Press, Ireland’s first LGBTQ+ led children’s publishing house, our vision is clear: every child deserves to see their identity reflected and celebrated in the stories they read.

Through our anthologies and creative projects, we nurture q***r talent, honour LGBTQ+ histories, and inspire empathy and understanding from a young age, helping to build a kinder, more inclusive world through the power of storytelling.

On this International Youth Day, we celebrate and uplift LGBTQ+ youth, past, present, and future and reaffirm our commitment to representation that empowers, heals, and inspires.

Let’s keep giving young people the stories where they see themselves and know they belong. 💜

Do you want to join the first long term study of LGBTQIA+ relationships in the UK and Ireland?🌈

Now is your opportunity! The echo project is a major research study based at DCU. They are looking for LGBTQIA+ adults (18+) living in the UK or Ireland to respond to their survey.

We’re delighted that our anthology ‘Hide and Seek’ is included in Children's Books Ireland 2025 pride guide!🏳️‍🌈

‘Hide and Seek’ features writing and artwork from 19 young people aged between 16-25 across the island of Ireland! 📖

Each poem, comic, or short story centres the idea of the Inner Child. Our inner child is often considered a reflection of our true selves, which we can hide from others as we get older.
