Penelope sleeping like a princess like she didnt just reek havoc on the Hillside with a mite infestation. Its been 4 days of laundry and de-manging the dogs. Im exhausted and covered in a rash but here she is just sleeping like a baby. Spoiled pig!!

Ive been working all summer on these and Im excited to announce that I have new salves for sale. From growing the herbs to infusing the oils, the process has all been done right here on the Hillside. Ive got Yarrow, Comfrey, Cayanne Pepper& turmeric, and a Cold Sore salve made with Lemon balm and St Johns Wort. It’s certainly been a labor of love and Im proud of the outcome. I will be set up at a new framers market this Friday from 4-8 on keith Street in the parking lot of the SmartBank.

My dehydrater has been going non-stop drying herbs and I finally get to use my hanging herb dryer but for the last of my green beans. Im drying them out for next years seeds. Seed packets are $3-$5 a piece and they are being genetically modified. I want to make it to where i never have to depend on stores for my seeds again.

I guess pigs are making a come back on the Hillside. This little kunekune even has the waddles. She is so cute and it will be nice to hear her snorting around the Hillside again.

It has been a process but Im finally finished with all my display boxes for my products. Excited about setting up at the farmers market this weekend with them all.
