📊 CHURCH LEADERS & PARENTS: Pay attention to this!

According to a recent study of youth and young adults in Christian churches, 75% of kids who grew up in church left the faith between ages 18–29. But here’s the good news — 25% stayed connected with Christ. Why?

The data revealed 5 consistent factors in the lives of the young people who stayed faithful:
1. 🍽️ They ate dinner together as a family at least 5 nights a week.
2. 🤝 They served in ministry alongside their family.
3. 🕯️ They experienced spiritual moments in the home (like prayer, worship, or biblical discussions).
4. 🧰 They were entrusted with meaningful ministry roles at a young age.
5. 🧓 They had at least one faith-filled adult mentor outside of their parents.

📌 What can we learn from this?

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents, the greatest influence on your child’s spiritual future isn’t the church — it’s you.
– Make family time sacred.
– Invite your kids into real acts of service.
– Normalize prayer, Scripture, and conversation about God in the home.
– Don’t just bring them to church — involve them in church.
– And surround them with other faithful adults who will pour into them.

⛪ Church Leaders, we need to do more than entertain youth.
– We must equip parents.
– We must empower kids to serve.
– We must intentionally connect generations.
– We must celebrate family discipleship as much as church programs.

This is not just about keeping kids in church — it’s about helping them walk with Jesus for life. 🙏

📣 Let’s rise to the challenge. The next generation is watching.

The history of the world... if written in books, and each person had their pages.... Would you want to have your story read on the Final Day of the world's creation? Our words, deeds, and attitudes write everyday.... our story. God sees, and someday, all will know. Be wise and understand the will of the Lord. (Ephesians 5:17) Look into your life daily with scripture. (1 Timothy 4:16) Make sure your eternal legacy is sound and sure. (Daniel 12:2-3) Write well.

Revelation 20:11 "Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done."

Here is a Bible article I put together on what history and scripture teach about instrumental music in church.

It's interesting that instruments were not used till 700 years after the New Testament church was established in Jerusalem.

The article gives quotes from "church fathers" and details the biblical reasons why the church did not add things God was silent on for congregational worship.

A song is a prayer in musical form. When 5, 20, 75, or 100 people are praying together, saying, words in hymns about their love, praise, thanks, and spiritual requests, towards God, in united spirit and heart, that is a prayer seen by heaven and by our Father as most precious and loved. When songs are sung in faith and prayed in purpose that is power and that leads to grace.

The human soul is precious. So valuable that God sent His only begotten Son to die for you and me. (John 3:16) The human soul is so precious that Satan wants you to spend eternity with him forever. And has made you his life's work. Day and night you're his special project. This is his calling: the devil wants to corrupt people and have them destroyed. (Matthew 13:24-30)

The wars never stop and the unseen forces are fighting for you and for those you know. Love is why Heaven wars and hate is why Hell rages. And these feelings are for you. Helping or hindering these battles depends on who you support. Do you submit to God and stand firm? (James 4:7/1 Peter 5:8-9) Or do you give in to temptation? (James 1:12-15)

The fruits of love, such as faithfulness, forgiveness, kindness, peace, compassion, submission to truth, and fervent prayer, yield power to the fight of Heaven by strengthening the soul they fight over.

Our actions are our armor. The Word is our Sword, the breastplate of righteousness protects, our prayers are our defense, our faith is our shield, the truth makes us stand prepared and the gospel makes us ready. (Ephesians 6:11-18)

The fruits of hate, bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, malice, slander, ill will, and indifference to those in need, yields power to the fight of Hell by weakening the soul that is being fought over. These actions corrupt and undermine our eternity. (Galatians 5:16-18)

Each day you can hinder your own advocates or help them, the choice is up to you. Sadly the war is won when our final hour ends. (Psalm 90:10)

You can choose who you will serve on this day. (Joshua 24:14-15) Both dark forces and those of grace are watching you. Who will you help? Our days are brief and unpredictable, let us reflect on this and be wise. (Psalm 90:12)

The greatest gift you can give a child is not money or toys. It's showing your offspring your heart. When a child is born into the world, they have very caring, open, honest attitudes toward those they meet. Love for them is natural and instinctive.

As the seasons of their lives move from early spring, many children grow out of these attitudes. The greatest gift a person can give their children is to teach them to love in all seasons.

How does this happen? By choosing to live in all seasons in love. Admonishing Bible Words fail, and the attendance of church is in vain, if the heart is not in step with the examples of peace, forgiveness, compassion, and understanding that come with a life surrendered to the will of God, found within the scriptures.

Do you want your children to know peace, to be free from ill emotions that affect mental health and spiritual eternity?

Then show them these traits in your life, teach them, know them, and believe them. Take the high road it's not crowded, turn the other cheek, and be silent when angry for in this such silence is golden. Live mindfully, knowing that every action is being recorded by little eyes. Practice the "Golden Rule" when you'd rather do the "Brazen Rule" which is "Do unto others as they do unto you." Reputations change, rumors fade, what lasts is your character.

Give them activities you can do with them to practice unconditional love. Love for family, love for friends, love for enemies. When you help them in this pursuit it will strengthen their bonds of love with God and with you. For love practiced strengthens bonds, in all areas of the heart. If neglected it weakens these bonds. The heart muscle is strengthened by exercises of love.

A father and mother's wish is to see Jesus in their children at every age of their life. Heaven is too important to ignore this commitment.

When I have children they will learn to love in all seasons.
I will share with them these verses and teach them the truths behind God's Words. Matthew 6:14-15 -1 John 3:9-11/4:19-21 - Galatians 5:19-25-1 Corinthians 11:23-28

What is it such a blessing to be "poor in spirit?"

(Matthew 5:3) Why are these people those who are accepted as having inherited "the kingdom of God?"

Simply for this reason, it's the broken who accept.

The poor spirit are whose mind is broken and will allow truths to come in. Pride, prejudice, and self-interest are gone. (Philippians 2:5-11)

These are those who find Jesus and later on as saints, accept truths when difficult. Though it cost much they keep to the path of the cross.

The poor in spirit have a heart of brokenness, the things of ego, like hate, malice, slander, indifference, and bitterness, are replaced with a state of humble weakness. For a hurting man or woman, can find relief in the love, grace, and peace, that comes from turning to God. These are the people ready for change. (Deuteronomy 8:1-5/Isaiah 66:2)

Those who are poor in body, whose health fails them, who find weakness where they once knew strength, are broken. But in such struggle, when we find pain, we know God is more influential in us. We seek Him more and ourselves less. (2 Corinthians 12:1-10)

So yes, we are blessed when the world says we are cursed. We are rich when people think we are poor. The treasures of this earth may not be laid before us. But heaven's gifts are ours in abundance when we know the gift of being "poor in spirit." Only when we are broken in spirit can God come into our cracked places, to fill up our minds, hearts, and flesh with eternal blessings...

HOW THE APOSTLES DIED.

1. Matthew
Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, Killed by a sword wound.

2. Mark
Died in Alexandria, Egypt , after being dragged by Horses through the streets until he was dead.

3. Luke
Was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous Preaching to the lost.

4. John
Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge Basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution In Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered From death.

John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison Island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos . The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve As Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey . He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully

5. Peter
He was crucified upside down on an x-shaped cross.
According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die In the same way that Jesus Christ had died.

6. James
The leader of the church in Jerusalem , was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his
enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club.
* This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation.

7. James the Son of Zebedee,
was a fisherman by trade when Jesus Called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was beheaded at Jerusalem.

The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer Walked beside James to the place of ex*****on. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and Knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.

8. Bartholomew
Also known as Nathaniel Was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip.

9. Andrew
Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: 'I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it.' He continued to preach to his tormentors For two days until he expired.

10. Thomas
Was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Sub-continent.

11. Jude
Was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.

12. Matthias
The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded.

13. Paul
Was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many
epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational Doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.

Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor compared to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the apostles and disciples during their times For the sake of the Faith.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: But he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Pass on to encourage other Christians
Why Do we feel sleepy in Prayer,
But stay awake through a 3 hour movie?
Why are we so bored when we look at the HOLY BOOK,
But find it easy to read other books?
Why is it so easy to ignore a msg about God,
Yet we forward the nasty ones?
Why are Prayers getting smaller,
But bars and clubs are expanding
Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity,
But very difficult to engage with God?

Think about it, are you going to forward this?
Are you going to ignore it, cause you think you will get laughed at?
Forward this to all your friends.
80% of you won't forward this.
God said: If you deny me in front of your friends, I will deny you on the day of judgment:

When one door closes, God opens two: If God has opened doors for you, send this message to everyone on your contact list.
Make this message your contribution to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, be blessed.

Buddha was born in 563 B.C. in an area now known now as the nation of Nepal. He was born into royalty, but as he became an adult, he wanted to see the real world. He renounced his royalty and lived a simple life. His wisdom and humility is seen in many of his writings. There is no evidence that he intended to found a religion, but it seems his followers in later years did bring this about.

Nepal was a part of the great Persian Empire at that time, which had defeated the Babylonian empire in October 539 BC, under the leadership of the Persian king Cyrus. Living in Babylon at that time was an older man named Daniel. Daniel had been taken captive as a young boy when Nebuchadnezzar, the ruler of Babylon, had destroyed Jerusalem in 605 B.C. The center of the Babylonian Empire would be in the nation now known as Iraq.

Through a series of interesting events, Daniel had risen to position of prominence in the Babylonian kingdom, while maintaining his faith in the true God rather than the idol gods of Babylon. Some of the Babylonian authorities were jealous of the Jewish Daniel, and conspired to trap him. They went to the king and asked that a law be passed, that if anyone made a petition or prayer to anyone besides the king, he should be cast into a den of lions. Knowing Daniel, they knew he would continue to pray to God.

Upon seeing Daniel praying, as his habit was, they reported this to the king. He realized he had been tricked, but had to carry out his decree, so he had Daniel cast into a den of lions. The next morning he went to see what had happened during the night, and was amazed to see Daniel walking around unharmed. Evidently the lions decided they were not hungry that night. The king rightly assumed that Daniel’s God that had protected him from the Lions was the true and living God, and sent messengers throughout his kingdom that people should worship the God of Daniel.

This would have been around the year 538 B.C. when Buddha would have been about 25 and Daniel in his late 70s by then. That message would have gone to the region where Buddha lived as that was a part of the empire, and he would have been aware of the king’s decree.

Now back to Buddha. He was born on the edge of the Persian Empire, in northwest India in 563 B.C. (Daniel would have been in his mid to late 50s at this time.) This was near the area from which the Magi came following the birth of Christ. The gospel writer Matthew records their visit and their worship of this one they recognized as the great promised one. “After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh” (Matthew 2:11).

In 534 B.C., at the age of 29, Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama) left his father’s castle in Nepal to explore the world in a quest for truth. This would have been during Daniel’s later years (probably mid 80s), and in fact would have been just a few years after the time that Daniel had escaped harm after being thrown into the lion’s den. Upon witnessing Daniel’s miraculous escape, King Darius was so impressed that he issued a decree. “Then Darius the king wrote to all the peoples, nations and men of every language who were living in all the land: ‘May your peace abound! I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men are to fear and tremble before the God of Daniel; For He is the living God and enduring forever, And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed, And His dominion will be forever’” (Daniel 6:25-26). “All the peoples, nations and men…” would have included the area in which Buddha lived, so it is quite likely that Buddha had some knowledge of these events.

Around this time, Siddhartha was being educated by Alarak Kalamaganta and Uttakak Ramabotra. The chief administrator for this region would have been none other than Daniel, also known as Belteshazzar. It is he who had prophesied and written about the Savior who was to come some 500 years later.

BUDDHA AND CHRIST

Buddhists believe one must do “merit” in order to improve one’s life. But they know that people sin, and none can ever do enough merit to cover their sins. So sin continues since no one is able to have enough merit to cover sin for himself and others. That is, unless someone could be so perfect that he could cover for himself and others.

In 531 B.C., records show that Buddha began his special ministry. He always claimed he was but a mere man, and recognized the problem of sin for himself and all mankind. It is worthy of note that the Buddhist Scriptures of Cambodia contain a prophecy regarding a “Holy One” to come, who would lead people away from the old way and introduce a new way.

“When Buddha was traveling and living in this world, there was an old Brahman priest who wore white robes who asked the Buddha, ‘How will all men and all Brahman continue in their merit-making so as to escape the results of sin?’” Buddha went on to explain that even the most extreme number of prayers and acts of benevolence would not suffice. “The old Brahman priest asked further, ‘What are we all to do to be saved?’” Buddha went on to explain there was no way this could be done. He said, “I have given up my high position and entered the priesthood. I considered that even though I am good, I would have only a very small amount of merit at the end of the year. If I was given the same amount of merit for 100,000 epochs and live 10 more lifetimes, I would not be saved from sin’s results even once.”

“The Old Brahman priest asked further, ‘So what should we all do?’ The Buddha answered, ‘Keep on making merit and look for another Holy One who will come and help the world and all of you in the future.’ Then the old Brahman priest asked, ‘What will the characteristics of the Holy One be like?’ The Buddha answered him, ‘The Holy One who will keep the world in the future will be like this: in the palm of his hands and in the flat of his feet will be the design of a disk, in his side will be a stab wound; and his forehead will have many marks like scars.’”

(Permission was given to copy these Buddhist Scriptures from Wat Phra Sing ChiangMai Province by Phra Sriwisutthiwong in Bangkok, Thailand. “It is guaranteed that this copy is accurate according to the original, that there is no error in transmission, which is in the book of the district headman, the religious encyclopedia volume 23, book #29. This inquiry was made on October 13, 1954 A.D. [Buddhist era 2497]”

Buddha’s description of the wounds on the Holy One clearly coincides with the wounds Christ suffered, with his hands and feet pierced with nails (John 20:25), his brow suffering a crown of thorns (John 20:2), and a spear thrust into his side (John 20:34)

Thus we see that Buddha’s teachings contained the concept of a coming savior, “Sira-Adia-Meetrey.” That name is a combination of titles meaning the Almighty or Head God of the Universe, and the Lord of Mercies. W. G. Singleton, who has spent much time in Cambodia among the Buddhists, believes the coming of this Great God was originally conceived to come in about 500 years, which coincides with Daniel’s prophetic timetable. At first, Buddha’s teachings were orally transmitted, but during the Maurya Dynasty or Empire, a later disciple, Raja Asoka (274-232 B.C.), commissioned an evangelistic mission to Tibet, China and Southeast Asia. Buddha’s teachings were committed to manuscripts and sent by ship from Sri Lanka to Southeast Asia. Unfortunately, the ship sank, and it was some time before the manuscripts were salvaged.

By the time the manuscripts were recovered, some of the ink was smudged and in some places difficult to read. Instead of reading “500 years,” the rewritten manuscripts now read “5,000 years.” Despite this, current manuscripts still maintain that the religion of Buddha would have lasted only 500 years, that is, until the coming of the Great Savior. Note and compare the teachings of Buddha with what is said about Christ.

(1) Buddha taught that Sira-Adia-Meetrey (shortened to Si-A-Meetrey) is the “Prince of Peace.” This is one of the titles of Jesus (Isaiah 9:6).

(2) Buddha claimed the coming one would be “the way” and “the truth.” Jesus claimed this for himself in John 14:6: “Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.'"

(3) Buddha taught that Si-A-Meetrey would be represented by a lion. The apostle John refers to Christ in similar words in Revelation 5:5: “the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David…”

(4) Buddha taught that the one coming was the only one who could forgive sins. We know this is true about Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed for sin. “and the blood of Jesus (God’s) Son cleanseth us from all sin” (I John 1:9).

(5) Buddha taught that the one coming would be “the first and the last.” This is exactly what Jesus claimed for himself. “'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end” (Revelation 22:13)

(6) Buddha taught his disciples to seek and obey “Dhamma,” referring to the “word” and the “way.” The apostle John identifies Christ by these exact words. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:1, 14). And in #2, we have already noted that Christ said he was “the way.”

(7) Buddha claimed that “Dhamma” is “light.” “Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world” (John 8:12).

(8 Buddha instructed his disciples to keep the law until Si-A-Meetrey would come in some 500 years. It was in that time period after Buddha that Jesus came.

(9) Buddha taught that Si-A-Meetrey’s conquering armies would come from the “west” (that would be from Israel going east into Buddha’s territory), with weapons of love, peace, kindness and mercy. The disciples in the early years carried the gospel throughout the world, and even in the first generation of the church, the apostle Paul claimed it had been “preached in all creation under heaven” (Colossians 1:23).

BUDDHA’S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF A NEED FOR A SAVIOR

Near the time of Buddha’s death in 483, B.C., The Enlightened One told his followers, “Regardless of how many laws you have kept, or even if you pray five times a day, you cannot be free from your sins. Even though you burn yourself, even though I become a hermit or am reborn another ten times, I shall also not be saved” (Manuscript, Praising Temple, Chiengmai, Thailand). Buddha stated that he was not a god, but just a man, a truth seeker. At his death, he taught there would be a future Messiah, “Lord of Mercies,” who would free men from their sins.

Buddha stated, “He is the Lord of Mercies. His name shall be called King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. He is all knowing, all wise. He knows all that is in the human heart. He is Lord of all the angels and of all humans. No one is greater than He” (Sutrapridot 3:107). He further stated concerning the Lord of Mercies that “…His side has a wound where he was pierced, and his forehead has many scars. He will carry you to heaven where you will find the triune God. Thus give up following the old ways. A spirit from heaven will come and dwell in your heart” (Manuscript, Praising Temple, Chiengmai, Thailand).

It is obvious to anyone acquainted with the Bible that all these things are fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul refers to Christ as “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” (I Timothy 6:15). The writer of Hebrews declares his ascendancy over angels: “having become by so much better than the angels, as he hath inherited a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? and again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son?” (Hebrews 1:4-5).

We know that at the crucifixion of Christ a crown of thorns was placed on his brow, which would have produced scarring (Matthew 2:29), and that a soldier pierced his side with a spear (John 19:34). As we read through the book of Acts, we find repeated references to the Christians being filled with the Spirit, as in 13:52: “And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”

Truly, Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World, and we are enjoined to submit to his authority in obedience to his word, commonly called “The New Testament.”

ACCEPTING CHRIST

The primary commands concerning accepting Christ are clearly revealed and easy to comprehend.

(1) Christ said we must believe that he is the one promised from ages past—the Son of God and the Savior of the world. “'Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins” (John 8:24).

(2) Repentance from sin, turning from sinful ways to serve Christ is also required. “I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

(3) We must not be ashamed to confess our belief, but be willing to let others know who and what we are. “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32-33).

(4) The final step that places us in a relationship with Christ and removes or sins is baptism or immersion in water. “He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned” (Mark 16:16); “Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name” (Acts 22:16).

(5) Following our baptism, we then are called upon to live a faithful life in hope of our final reward in heaven. “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).

03/10/2024

People try an event or two and receive no baptisms and say door knocking does not work, or that people have hard hearts and won't accept Jesus in this day and age. Or that God does not work His message to save others anymore, etc. I've heard this from time to time, from well-meaning saints, with whom I love.

My friend evangelism is like anything else in life. It will work if we invest in the process. If we realize its worth and will sacrifice for this treasure. The kingdom of God should be our greatest prize and where our greatest investments lie. (Matthew 13:44/Matthew 6:21)

How do you harvest fruits? It's by a lifestyle of consistency, is it not?
No one tries a secular activity once or twice yearly and expects massive success. We count the cost and plan accordingly.

If I went to the gym once or twice a year or went on a diet, or pursued a relationship a few times a year and got minimal results for such minimal action, would it not make sense that I had not invested in the process?

If I went to an adult Karate class a handful of times a year would I expect to receive a new belt and level in my martial arts? Of course not, I would not have invested in the process.

It's like taking your kids to 2-3 soccer games a year and complaining to the coach that your children "aren't any good at the sport." Or going to college as a teen for a few classes and complaining to the professor about getting bad grades.

If a young man courted a young lady, a handful of times a year and expected to be married, with 2.3 kids after 3-5 dates, he'd not have a grounded view of the dating process.

What we do regularly defines us in growth and helps mold us into the men and women we are today.

Evangelism is no different.

We spiritually grow up more into Christ when we live as He lived. (1 John 2:4-6) Jesus lived a lifestyle of evangelism. The gospels clearly show this. The book of Acts details what those who were "Christ-ians" did. They too lived lifestyles of evangelism.

The first and greatest commandment says we are to be 100 percent committed to God. (Matthew 22:36-38)

As in any Bible commandment, from honoring one's parents to not committing adultery, we know we are expected to be faithfully living these teachings.

We don't honor the teachings of being kind and in showing forgiveness... a few times a year. We know God wants us to obey His Biblical standards all the time.

How is the commandment to do evangelism any different?

All of God's teachings are to be actively practiced and faithfully followed. No one honors their parents on a few selected days a year or abstains from committing adultery on pre-selected times during the annual seasons of a year. Why should we apply such a standard to evangelism?

The Christian spirit of empathy, tenderness, and grace... that we read about in the scriptures, should in conscious and in attitude call us to do no less... than to show concern (daily) for those going to hell.

Evangelism is not solely about duty. (Matthew 28:18-20) The heart of soul saving is about compassion and love. That is the second commandment. (Mark 12:30-31/Luke 10:29)

We should want to share the cross. And tell about the truths that lead to heaven and a relationship with God. We should feel a fear of hell (Jude 23) that makes us want to share a message of grace for those who need forgiveness, hope, mercy, and peace...
(2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

Evangelism is not about us promoting ourselves but of us sharing a gift. (2 Corinthians 4:5-6) It's about a gift, that if truly understood... would make the tongue speak words. Words that hold a promise. A promise of hope, freedom, and at the end of our last day, LIFE.

If evangelism becomes a process, like our daily secular activities, then...

We will "seek first His kingdom and righteousness" (Matthew 6:33) by living the kingdom-building commandment of the Great Commission. Results come with time, commitment, and an investment to the process.

In Jewish times, a fisherman fishes as a daily lifestyle practice to feed his family. The future Apostles, brothers Peter and Andrew knew this truth, they were fishermen. What did Jesus tell Peter and Andrew to do?

Matthew 4:18 "As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were *fishermen. 19“Come, *follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will MAKE you *fishers of men.” 20 And at once they left their nets and followed Him."

To be followers of Jesus (His Word) means we will be made into fishers of men. When we invest in the process of fishing we will begin to catch others for Jesus.
