Meteorological Summer (June 1st - August 31st) has officially wrapped! How did this summer turn out? Per the National Weather Service and the data kept at the Waco Regional Airport, this was one of the coolest summers on record!

FIRST ALERT: I want to emphasize that there is NOT any major river flooding going on in Central Texas right now - but there IS a Flood Warning in effect for the Navasota River near Groesbeck from tonight until Tuesday morning. The river is expected to rise into the minor flood stage (about 7 feet) around 10 AM on Monday. If you or anyone you know is along the bank of the Navasota River in this area, keep a close eye on the water level!

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING is now in effect for Mason, McCulloch, San Saba County. Multiple inches of rain have already fallen in the warned area and flash flooding is imminent or occurring. Turn around, DON'T DROWN! You never know how deep the water may be.
