Last night I went to the concert of this guy who blew me away back in 1990, when they aired on TV — with Genesis, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Status Quo and of course, him: Eric Clapton. And there was also what looked like a kid back then, Nathan East.

It felt like an intimate concert for all of us listening, with a guitar tone and voice that seemed to return to the roots of the blues — and, of course, an incredible band.
So happy to have finally seen you live, Eric.

Ps. Clapton is 80 todays and still plays better guitars then most of us ❤️
