We love working with artists.

Here at the Hudson Valley Seed Co, we love working with a diverse range of artists to bring seed stories to life. A compelling visual design has the power to illuminate and deepen our connection to the culture, history, and beauty of seeds. We have a profound respect for the work artists do, and we love how our seed packs can be a vehicle for sharing original, contemporary artwork.

In our general Call for Art, we look at existing examples of work from each artist. We consider all submissions for our Art Packs, in addition to our other artful offerings, such as: Planting Guide Posters, Wildflower Seed Shakers, Gift Boxes, Note Cards, and Pillows. We also produce Fine Art Prints and Posters, including signed limited edition prints.

Commissioned artists receive: Commission payment, a percentage of sales featuring full image of your artwork payable once a year, 50% off seed purchases, inclusion in the Art of Seed gallery show, your name on the product link on hudsonvalleyseed.com, 'meet the artist' blog post and subscriber newsletter, seedy satisfaction, and green garden love.

The call for art continues throughout the year, and we review all submissions every Spring.

Had to share this once I saw it was once the home of Edward and Adele Paier and served as the Paier College of Art from 1960 to 1963! Came across it when reading the Daily Nutmeg which, among other topics, sometimes highlights unique area property that is for sale.

2023 Elm City LIT Fest!

The 4th Annual Elm City LIT Fest will take place at the Dixwell Q House (197 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511) on Saturday, September 9th from 11am-5pm. Set up time for vendors is 9am. Each vendor is ask to bring their own tent, table and chairs. Those representing nonprofits or community organizations are not required to pay. However, businesses who are selling items must pay a $100 vendor fee. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to [email protected].
