And the follow on to Bligh's account of the mutiny on the Bounty, the expedition of HMS Pandora, has just gone to the publishers. Captain Edward Edwards and Surgeon George Hamilton wrote of their efforts to find the mutineers, and they too found themselves in a much smaller vessel trying to reach Kupang after Pandora hit a reef (sorry, plot spoiler!).

You can order your copy from Sunday 21st June, and if you haven't looked at any of the other books in the Navy Notes series, then why not!

Plenty here in this museum on Nelson's failed attack on Tenerife in 1797. Some really nice displays and items.

If anyone knows if a copy of this film stills exists please get in touch.
It was produced by the The Society for Nautical Research in 1923, and was made by Frederick Engholm (living in Brighton at the time). It was created to help raise finds for the "Save the Victory" fund, which helped to restore HMS "Victory" when she came into the dry dock at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
