Hi everyone. The two-week ChooseYourEnds social media campaign comes to a close today. Whether the criminal law should allow doctors to end the life of patients at their request or help them finish their own lives is perhaps the most disputed debate in current law, medicine, and ethics. Unfortunately, emotion often triumphs over reason in such debates and creates more arguments than rational discussions. That’s why we use this platform to disseminate the correct knowledge and related information about voluntary assisted dying in Australia. Hope the voluntary assisted dying laws be established as soon as possible and help more people in need. Thank you for being on this journey with us.

Hi everyone. We believe death is not a right but a fact of the end of life. Therefore, regardless of other people’s ethical, moral, or religious beliefs, all Australians should have the right to choose what happens at the end of their lives, rather than being forced to experience cruel and unavoidable suffering when they are most vulnerable. Hi, everyone. After hearing your troughs and stories about VAD, we would like to explain why we launched this campaign.
Voluntary assisted dying has always been a controversial topic since its existence. However, we want to help alleviate the pain and suffering of Australians with immedicable diseases or terminal illnesses, their families, and carers to offer people a better choice at the end of life. Despite other people’s ethical, moral, or religious beliefs, we believe all Australians should have the right to choose what happens at the end of their lives, rather than being forced to experience cruel and unavoidable suffering when they are most vulnerable.
