John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Darkness will never win. Even a small light can pe*****te in a very dark place. Jesus said "He is the light of the world". He wants us to live in His light but some people choose to live in the dark. Though the light is shining bright, they cannot see it, or they don’t really want to see it.

What should the story of the blind man in John 9:1-16 tell us about the dangers of being so blinded by our own beliefs and traditions that we can miss important truths right before our own eyes?

1 Samuel 3:10 says

"The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”

Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

As we have our quiet time with God, I think we should be Samuel who was willing to listen what God is teaching us from our personal bible study.
