MEDIA REPORT: DIOCESE OF UYO'S ACTIVE PARTICIPATION

The Diocese of Uyo's delegation, led by His Lordship, Rt. Rev'd Owen Amos Ukafia, JP, attended the Niger Delta Provincial Council meeting held from Tuesday, 2nd to Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, at Bethel Anglican Church, Amadi Ama. The meeting was themed "The Peace of God" (Phil 4:7) and brought together Provincial Council members and Mother's Union Executives from the 13 Dioceses in the Niger Delta Province. Notably, the Diocese of Uyo had previously hosted this meeting in February.

The delegation consisted of:

Under Bishop Ukafia's leadership, the Diocese has consistently attended all Church of Nigeria and Provincial meetings, conferences, retreats, conventions, and Standing Committee meetings. Since his enthronement, the Diocese of Uyo has not missed any Church of Nigeria programs, from Province to national levels. Bishop Ukafia ensures all groups and arms of the Diocese participate in national programs globally.

We pray for continued grace and blessings as the Diocese drives on the path of success and increase. Long live the Diocese of Uyo!
