Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been out for almost 2 weeks….and I’ve finished it 😅

I haven’t gotten this into a game for months, and being an OG Pokémon fan I jumped straight in! The highlight is definitely the real-time battle mechanics - it feels so much more fluid and natural having the action happen how it actually would! (Pokémon & Fire Emblem are the only turn based games I play 😅)

Mega evolution feels way more integrated into the game and so much more meaningful, plus some of the new designs are epic! Alpha Pokémon are back, and I literally retrained some of my team from scratch to build a team full of absolute giant monsters! Online competitive battle is giving Pokémon Unite but with the team you’ve personally built up, and is so satisfying cleaning up and being rewarded with new Mega Stones!

The game is set entirely in Lumiose City, which I was a little unsure about after the open worlds we’ve had in recent games, but they did a great job making the city more dynamic with plenty of rooftops to explore and secrets to find. I’m just hoping we get to explore some of the surrounding routes in the upcoming DLC!

Overall I had an absolute blast with this game, and now am doing the classic ‘catch em all’ 😂 Thank you for gifting me a code, and for forever fueling my love for 🩷

Such a special night celebrating the beautiful ’s wedding at the most incredible venue 🩷🐠🦈

Just a few of my highlights from ! Crazy that was over a week ago and the whole weekend flew by, but was a wild blur of fun and so many epic memories as always!

Highlights were playing the new game (especially as a long-time Pokémon fan) and checking out the massive booth 😍 Seeing all the cool new tech at the booth, siting on the Tron: Ares light cycle, testing out the keyboards, seeing all the cute accessories and merch across the stalls, forever fangirling over the creations, checking out wild set ups, gawking over the price of Pokémon cards, and seeing so many friends I haven’t caught up with in ages! (Plus finally getting to meet after meaning to for literally years!! 🥰)

Thank you for making this yet another super special PAX to remember 🩷

Best night out at last week 💃🏻

Such a fun and modern cabaret show full of iconic songs, great outfits, and unreal performers! I saw the show twice in two weeks, and it was even more fun the second time!

10/10 would recommend for a night out with friends or for a cute date night 👌🏻

Had the best time away on my little 2 week holiday to Bali, which was made all the more easy using my new Urban Sling bag ✨

And here’s my honest review - for my last trip I used the super popular Uniqlo bag, which I thought was good, but IMO doesn’t compare on practicality, utility, material, and overall quality now I’ve traveled with the Orbitkey bag. There are two separate pockets, one for small, flat things, like your passport, cards, wallet etc, and a larger pocket for bigger items where I put my Kindle, phone, water bottle, make up top up, tissues, hand sanitiser, sunscreen, snacks, headphones, cables, tripod and more. I was surprised how much it could fit, and the thick body strap meant it didn’t feel too heavy on my shoulder even when completely full. It has really good structure, so your stuff always stays in place, and multiple mini pockets in each section to further help you easily access everything you have. Initially I thought the extra structure of the bag would make it feel more bulky and awkward to carry, but it actually made it more comfortable to sit against my back or stomach when exploring!

The material is super sturdy and waterproof, I even had a drink spill in the bag and didn’t know for ages it didn’t leak through, so feel very confident if it rained this would be more than water resistant!

As someone who has done solo travel for 11 years now, I can confidently say this will be my day bag of choice for my future adventures! 🌏
