Mary Fowler will not partake in Australia’s upcoming international friendlies against Germany and Haiti after withdrawing from the squad due to personal reasons.

A special honour for a Matilda 🇦🇺🏅👏 Mary Fowler was celebrated with a pre-game presentation for bringing up 100 Manchester City games!

The 23-year-old, who became City’s 23rd centurion last week away to Charlton, played 28 minutes of City’s 4-2 against Arsenal.

International teammate Kyra Cooney-Cross started for Arsenal, while Caitlin Foord was a half-time substitute.

For three years, the Matildas star wanted to give the game away.

Now she feels like the 23-year-old version of herself again... only this time, she’s found a new purpose in football.

Alongside ex-Australia teammate Emily Gielnik, Logarzo is using Future Baller to pass on the lessons their careers taught them about resilience, confidence and failure, and this weekend, she’s bringing that experience to Ballarat.

Logarzo and Future Baller are teaming up with PitchUp for a three-day camp at Ballarat Grammar from September 27–29, with current Matildas star Cortnee Vine set to feature.

Now the former Matildas star says she feels like the 23-year-old version of herself again... only this time, she’s found a new purpose in football.

What a gesture 🥹🇦🇺🏅 Former Japan coach Nils Nielsen has dedicated his Ballon d'Or nomination to his Aussie assistant Leah Blayney.

The pair won the Asian Cup together in March, beating the Matildas in the final.

Nielsen is up against Lyon’s Jonatan Giraldez, Manchester City’s Andree Jeglertz, Barcelona’s Pere Romeu and BK Hacken’s Elena Sadiku for Women's Coach of the Year.
