Errrr…. Young Knives ‘Barbarians’ boxed set. Pink splatter vinyl LP in a different, ‘cartoon’ sleeve, two original art prints by Henry and House, a glossy A4 magazine with lyrics, cuttings and illustrations by the lads, a signed postcard, a really cool metal lapel badge, and, for some reason, a load of cute spherical pink bobbly things.
One of only a hundred in existence.

NMLAF #44: Guardian-style corrections, addendums, apologies etc.

Dear friends. I was, as you may have noticed, fighting a bit of a sore throat during the recording of this month’s issue. Listening back, it’s noticeable that my voice gives up altogether in a couple of places. Sadly, this one went right up to the wire (I was still recording at 5pm yesterday) so I didn’t have time to sort it out, re-record, or employ any of the usual methods of amelioration that listeners to a professional podcast would naturally expect. Apologies for this unforgivable dip in quality control, I will effect the usual punishment plan, viz. birch twigs, etc.

In other news, Morrissey has been in touch to point out, in a frankly whiny voice, that his masterwork is actually called ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’, not ‘Bonfire Of THE Teenagers’. That was just me crediting him with too much literary imagination by thinking it was a Tom Wolfe parody.
Interestingly, he didn’t take issue with me calling him a racist bell-end.
