The Mayorβs race will be decided in a runoff on Tuesday, September 23. This election will shape life in our neighborhood and across Mobile for the next 4β8 years.
To put it in perspective: only 41,000 people voted citywide in the last round, and turnout is expected to drop by half. That means just 20,000 people will decide the future of 200,000 residents. Our district had one of the lowest turnouts in the city β but if we change that, our community can have an outsized impact.
