Meeting was held at the DCP South Zone office with Qiblas, in-charges of Anjumans, and community elders of the Shia community. The discussion focused on the preparatory arrangements for the upcoming Arbaeen (Chehlum) observance, scheduled for the 20th of Safar, marking the 40th day after Ashura.

During the meeting, key issues were addressed, including:

1. The participation of a large number of matamis (mourning groups) from neighboring states.

2. Detailed planning of the routes to be followed during the Arbaeen procession.

3. Implementation of traffic diversions and road closures to facilitate the smooth movement of the procession and minimize disruption to the general public.

4. Engagement with community volunteers and local organizations to assist with crowd management, sanitation, and other logistical support during the event.

Further coordination meeting will be held with Qiblas, in-charges, and officials from other departments to ensure a respectful and safe observance of Arbaeen. The DCP South Zone assured the community elders of full support and cooperation from the police department to ensure a safe and solemn event....

As part of the preparation for the ensuing Ganesh Festival 2024, on 17-08-2024 Sri Ponnam Prabhakar, Hon’ble Minister for Transport and BC Welfare & District Incharge Minister, Hyderabad held an Inter departmental co-ordination Meeting with Hyderabad City Police Officers and other Govt., departments at TGC&CC.

In this programme, Sri Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, Sri Vikram Singh Mann, IPS, Addl. CP, L&O, Hyderabad, Sri P. Viswa Prasad, IPS, Addl. CP, Traffic, Sri Gajarao Bhupal, IPS, Jt.CP, Admin, Sri Sarfaraz Ahmad, IAS, Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, Smt. Amrapali Kata, IAS, Commissioner, GHMC, Sri Anudeep Durishetti, IAS, Collector, Hyderabad Sri K. Ashok Reddy, IAS, MD, HMWS&SB and officials from R&B (Electrical and Building), TGSPDCL, Fire Services, Transport, I&PR, Health and Family welfare and Hyderabad City Police officers (ACsP and above ranks of L&O and Traffic) have participated.

Hon’ble Minister said that the Govt., has given top priority to this festival and making elaborate arrangements for the Ganesh Festival to ensure that no trouble or inconvenience is caused to the devotees during the festivities and he instructed all the authorities to complete all the preparations across the city before the specified date. Further he emphasize on cooperation among various departments for effective ex*****on of plans and successful completion of Ganesh Festival....

The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Teams along with Hussaini Alam Police team, have apprehended (02) persons. This gang has been providing old date bound papers and creating fake documents to file fraudulent litigations in court of law.

1) Mohd Syed Azher Uddin S/o Syed Alauddin, age.41 yrs, Occ: Pvt Job, R/o Chandulan, Baradari Colony Bahadurpura, Hyderabad 2) Mohammed Inayath Ali @ Shakeel S/o Late Mohammed Ayub Ali, age.46 yrs, Occ: Cloth Business, R/o Mr John Road Doodhbowli, Hussaini Alam Hyderabad who found indulging in storing and selling of very old dated Rs. 100,50,20 and 10 notary stamp papersand creating fake documentswithold dates, and cheating the Governmentand filing false litigations in the court of Law.

The above accused were apprehendedby Sri. Y. Ajay Kumar, Inspector of Police, South Zone and SIs S/Sri K. Narsimulu,G. Anjaneyulu, N. Naveen& Staff of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad City along with Hussaini AlamPolice, Hyderabad.

In this regard, a case has been registered in Cr.No.274/2023 U/s 468, 469, 471, 420 r/w 34 IPC of Hussaini Alam PS, Hyderabad and took up investigation.
