The Trump regime staged another military assault on Los Angeles yesterday, this time targeting historic MacArthur Park. Not coincidentally, the park lies in the Westlake District, which is home predominantly to immigrants from Central America. Trump says he gave US enemy permission to bomb US military base. This is not a drill.

"The right-wing Washington Times reported that at a press conference at the NATO Summit in the Netherlands on Wednesday, Trump revealed that he had given Iran permission to bomb the U.S.’s Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar in retaliation for the American bombing of their nuclear sites.

“They said, ‘We’re going to shoot them. Is one o’clock OK?’ I said it’s fine,” Trump said. “And everybody was emptied off the base so they couldn’t get hurt, except for the gunners.”

BREAKING: Barack Obama enrages MAGA world by unleashing a powerful takedown of Donald Trump’s fascist ICE crackdowns and racist rhetoric.

This is what a real president sounds like…

“Thirteen years ago, my administration acted to protect young people who were American in every single way but one: on paper. DACA was an example of how we can be a nation of immigrants and a nation of laws,” Obama wrote on X.

Republicans have been foaming at the mouth for years to destroy the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program which allows individuals who arrived undocumented in the United Stated as children to receive a renewable window of deferred action from deportation. There are roughly 530,000 active DACA recipients currently.

“And it’s an example worth remembering today, when families with similar backgrounds who just want to live, work, and support their communities, are being demonized and treated as enemies,” Obama continued.

As he often does, Obama made it clear that he was talking about Trump without mentioning him by name, denying the infamous egomaniac the attention he so desperately craves.

“We can fix our broken immigration system while still recognizing our common humanity and treating each other with dignity and respect. In fact, it’s the only way we ever will,” he concluded.

Obama’s remarks came in the wake of the nationwide “No Kings” protests which saw millions of Americans take to the streets to oppose Trump’s cruel ICE crackdowns and increasingly authoritarian policies.

The former president’s empathetic message came just hours before Trump announced plans to double down on his deeply unpopular ICE policies by expanding the crackdowns to numerous other cities.

Disturbingly, Trump urged his ICE agents "to do all in their power" to carry out his mass deportation agenda. Given the fact that these agents are already acting like a totalitarian paramilitary force by wearing masks, denying people due process, and deporting innocent people to foreign prisons it’s terrifying to think that they might somehow escalate their tactics.
