Busy weekend on TNT Sports Bikes for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. Sat in for Steve on Superbikes, so covered five classes across 15 races in two days - very busy!

Busy weekend. I’m away commentating for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Donington, whilst Dad is at Lydden tomorrow for the BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship - not in my Honda as planned, but a hastily repaired Clio after he let the valves start dancing on the bonnet last weekend 😂

Out with Big Neil at Lydden Hill for some rallycross testing. He’ll be piloting the Civic next weekend.

Been absolutely flat out lately so haven’t had time to upload stuff from Berlin, but here’s the moment we crowned Oliver Rowland as the 2025 Formula E World Champion from inside the box.

Back on BSB this weekend for TNT Sports. In completely unrelated news I’m off to work for an estate agents afterwards.

A bit about me!

Hello!

I’m Tom. I’m a Sports Commentator and Journalist and I’ve been working in media since the age of 13. I started out volunteering for a local radio station whilst at secondary school, presenting various shows over my seven year tenure there, including the Breakfast Show for nine months at the age of 16.

Whilst studying for my GCSEs, I decided that I really wanted to have a career that I’d enjoy and having been fascinated with motor racing for as long as I can remember (even attempting to race once upon a time), coupled with using my voice on an almost daily basis, working as a sports commentator was something that really did appeal to me. At the time, I was also writing for a few Formula 1 news websites too.

I began by commentating over some old racing videos and sticking them up on YouTube and before long it began gaining some traction. By pure chance, a friend I worked with in my part-time job was a sim racer and said that the series he raced in produced highlights which were likely to be broadcast on television.
