my relationship with food is in the best place it’s ever been.
i competed in bodybuilding in my mid-twenties, and bouncing back from that was tough in so many ways. my relationship with food was wack - i was binging and in and out of shame cycles with food. i lost my period and my adrenals/hormones were really taxed. i know so many people, especially women can relate.
since then, i’ve slowly but surely learned how to listen to my body, eat what both tastes good and makes me feel good. and not feel bad about ANYTHING i eat. i have found such a nice equilibrium. i deeply love my body and love to honor it with beautiful, healthy, and yummy food!
lots of veggies in the mix lately, especially crisp and fresh ones with the season changing! i am such a rabbit! i’ve added back in eggs and fish, and my body is thanking me for the protein. i cycle-sync my diet, so i eat different foods depending on my menstrual phase. i’ve cut way down on sugar, and have been eating fruit to treat my lil sweet tooth.
