Our weird and wonderful David Lynch-inspired cover of “Blue Bayou” is out everywhere today!
When I listen, I can hear every subtle but significant twist from the original that each player contributed, and it makes me feel lucky all over again for getting to surround myself with this gang of musicians who know exactly what I mean when I say “make it sound like it’s in a David Lynch movie”.
I not-so-subtly lifted the font for the cover art from a certain cult-classic 90s TV show. And that image in the background is obviously Mira Gut (IYKYK).
Huge thanks again to my band, Adam Fine, , Nick Mclean, and for their ability to pull magic out of the air on a plain old Tuesday night.
